Sitawi's Positive Impact Crowdlending Platform mobilizes over R$ 600,000 and promotes a meeting in Brasília to strengthen the impact in the Central-West region

August was a month of celebration for the Sitawi Platform. We successfully concluded another investment round: in just five days, 70 investors raised over R$$ 600,000 for two impact businesses operating in the Central-West region: Sun Honey, which has a network of more than 400 family beekeepers, and the CEPPEC, made up of 54 farming families, mostly led by Black women. The funds raised will boost sustainable production chains that will generate fair income and contribute to the preservation of the Cerrado and Pantanal regions.

The result of the round was celebrated in Brasilia, during a meeting to discuss “How private social investment can accelerate socio-environmental transformation in the Midwest”The event brought together strategic partners, such as the Sabin Institute, represented by Gabriel Cardoso, the organization's executive manager, who highlighted the importance of joint action in social innovation and shared the results of the last six years of partnership between the Institute and the Sitawi Platform.

Entrepreneurs from Mel do Sol, CEPPEC and Green New Seeds They also shared their experiences and presented the impact they have on the Midwest, highlighting that investing in the region is essential to strengthening communities and, at the same time, protecting local ecosystems.

The successful round and the meeting in Brasília reflect Sitawi's commitment to expanding access to capital and strengthening solutions that transform local realities, contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
