The initiative is operated in partnership between Sitawi Finanças do Bem and Banco BS2 S/A, offering an efficient alternative to traditional banking solutions for those sending or receiving funds from abroad.
2. Who can use the Good Exchange program?
Any individual, for-profit company, or non-profit organization can use the service, provided they are receiving or sending international funds.
3. Can I use the service for personal purposes?
Yes — both individuals and legal entities can use Câmbio do Bem for personal or institutional transactions.
4. How do I start using the service?
You must fill out the pre-registration form available on the page. After that, the team will contact you by email or WhatsApp to request documents and begin the analysis for complete registration.
5. Is there a cost to register?
No. Registration is free and does not generate any initial cost to the user.
6. What documents are needed for registration?
For legal entities and organizations, the following are typically requested:
- Social contract
- Identification documents of the members
- ID or driver's license of the responsible parties.
- Signed/audited financial statements
Individuals only need personal identification documents.
7. How long does it take to register?
The registration process usually takes between 3 and 7 business days, depending on the completeness of the documents submitted.

After completing the full registration and receiving the banking channel instructions from Sitawi, you will be able to start foreign exchange transactions with the banking partner (Banco BS2).
9. How are foreign exchange transactions closed?
The operations are federated with close monitoring through a WhatsApp group created for you, allowing real-time communication between the Sitawi team and the client.
10. Are there limits on foreign exchange transactions?
Yes — with simplified registration, transactions of up to USD 15,000 per year are permitted without additional limits per transaction. With full registration, higher amounts can be processed, subject to document review.
11. Can I trade any foreign currency?
Yes. The service covers transactions in all foreign currencies, according to the client's needs.
12. How long does it take to complete a currency exchange transaction?
Most transactions are completed within 1 to 2 business days, depending on banking processes and confirmation of the sending/receiving of funds.
13. Can I cancel a currency exchange transaction?
Yes, it is possible to cancel a transaction. The bank may charge fees or adjustments due to exchange rate fluctuations at the time of cancellation.
14. What fees and taxes are charged?
At Câmbio do Bem, there is a single spread of 0.7%, transparent and with no hidden costs. However, foreign exchange transactions are also subject to taxes such as IOF (0.38%) and, in some cases, income tax or specific charges.

Part of the savings generated in the operations — especially the spread — is directed towards Sitawi's advocacy efforts and support for the Third Sector, expanding the reach of social and environmental projects through resources that would otherwise be spent on traditional bank fees.

No. The funds go directly from the bank to the recipient's bank account. Sitawi acts only as a facilitator and currency exchange correspondent.

18. Can I request a currency exchange outside of business hours?
No. Currency exchange requests are processed Monday through Friday during business hours (generally 9 AM to 6 PM).
