A Nuvem – Rural Art and Technology Station, with the support of Sitawi Finance for Good will select 5 proposals that will be developed at Interactivos?16′ – rural laboratory located in Serrinha do Alambari – RJ. This year's edition has the theme Water and Autonomy and will take place between October 29th and November 12th, 2016. Registration has been extended until September 9th.
Researchers, artists and developers from different areas of activity can submit projects that bring proposals to the water crisis that had help for their development, in addition to the logistics of participating in the incubation process.
interactive? is a collaborative project development laboratory. This year, 2016, the theme of our Interactive??16 is Water and Autonomy. This intends to be a study on autonomous hydrology, encouraging the intersection between popular, scientific, technical and artistic knowledge in proposing solutions to water issues in different areas through a citizen perspective.
To this end, this edition proposes hosting projects that aim to experiment with propositions and solutions related to the problems we face, such as water scarcity and carelessness in its use, considering drinking water for human consumption, animal consumption and water intended for for different uses: domestic consumption, agricultural consumption, industrial consumption and use in recreational activities.
Proposals are of interest that come to think of the entire water cycle, from the springs to the taps, including collection, reservoirs, distribution, sanitation, reuse, maintenance of water quality, safety strategies in case of catastrophes and prevention of accidents in populations vulnerable. Likewise, important proposals are based on the problems of river basins and their components (watersheds, valley bottoms, sub-basins, springs, discharge and recharge areas, and hydrogeochemical or hydrochemical profiles), downstream and upstream of rivers, ebb, flood, flow, mouth, bed, riparian vegetation (riparian forest, riparian forest and gallery forest). And basic sanitation, virtual water (water used to produce a good, product or service), water pollution, and others.
The objective of Interactivos?'16 Água e Autonomia is to create an interaction between different areas that complement each other within the systemic dynamics of water (populations, agriculture, industrial context, ecosystems) through a platform for the exchange of information and technologies on conscious management and sustainable use of water, as well as offering structure for the development of projects.
