The ERM Brazil Fund aims to leverage resources to support families, as well as their animals and communities, impacted by the floods that occurred in Rio Grande do Sul, which occurred in April and May 2024.
Support will be provided by raising financial donations among employees through matchfunding (counterpart financing), that is, for every R$ 1 collected in donations, ERM Brasil will contribute another R$ 1.
The funds raised will be allocated firstly to ERM Brasil employees impacted by the climate catastrophe and their respective communities and, subsequently, to NGOs selected by ERM Brasil.
Knowing that the situation faced by the population in Rio Grande do Sul is a consequence of climate change, ERM Brasil, as one of the actors in the sustainability agenda, sought an effective and agile solution.
An emergency Philanthropic Fund was created to raise funds to support 44 employees linked to the Porto Alegre offices, their families and communities, at this crucial time of recovery.
