The Safecity Fund was created by Red Dot Foundation Global to advance the mission of ending violence against women and girls through crowdsourced data, community-led action, and institutional accountability.

Through the fund, established in partnership with Sitawi, the initiative aims to:

• Train and empower leaders and young people to prevent gender-based violence and promote equity.
• Raise awareness of safety in public spaces, workplaces and schools.
• Promote a culture of collective responsibility and grassroots innovation so that communities can create and sustain solutions that reflect their realities.

 Why a Philanthropic Fund?

The Fund allows for transparent and structured fundraising to support public safety programs in urban spaces and provide ongoing training in prevention and advocacy against gender-based violence.
