In addition to its production operations, the company maintains a... active commitment to the communities that inhabit the surrounding territory, developing support projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the quilombola communities in the region.

Within the scope of this commitment, the MRN structured an initiative to donate equipment and materials to the Mãe Domingas Association., which represents six quilombola communities in Alto Trombetas. The action seeks To strengthen community organization and improve the living conditions and autonomy of these peoples in their traditional territory..
