In May 2020, the Sitawi exceeded its annual target of capital mobilized for impact, breaking the R$60 million barrier, with expectations of reaching R$150 million by the end of the year. These results are the result of the intensification of the donation culture and the reach of new funds due to the crisis. In total, there are 25 Philanthropic Funds managed, 11 of which are focused on combating COVID-19.
In light of the emergency context, our mission to mobilize capital for positive socio-environmental impact has become even more relevant. Through Philanthropic Funds, we use our expertise in financial management to multiply our efforts to impact and combat COVID-19, always in alignment with our mission and values. As of June, we have mobilized more than R$1,400,000 to the frontline, benefiting more than 70 hospitals and 30,000 families.
