Philanthropic Funds on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19

In May 2020, the Sitawi exceeded its annual target of capital mobilized for impact, breaking the barrier of R$ 60 million, with an expectation of reaching R$150 million by the end of the year. These results are the result of the intensification of the donation culture and the reach of new funds due to the crisis. In all, there are 25 Philanthropic Funds managed, 11 of which are aimed at combating COVID-19.

Given the emergency context, our mission to mobilize capital for a positive socio-environmental impact has become even more relevant. Through Philanthropic Funds, we use our expertise in financial management, multiply our efforts to impact and combat COVID-19, always in line with our mission and values. By June, we had mobilized more than R$28 million to the frontline, benefiting more than 70 hospitals and 30,000 families.
