The Cielo Philanthropic Fund aims to centralize and operate the resources directed towards the company's Social Responsibility. The Fund offers training, scholarships and mentoring for women in vulnerable situations, focusing on their access to the job market.
As fiscal sponsor, Sitawi assumes fiscal responsibility for the philanthropic resources raised by the initiative and its accountability to funders, ensuring transparency and compliance in the execution of activities.
BNDES Saving Lives
The BNDES Salvando Vidas Matchfunding Fund worked to combat COVID-19 to strengthen healthcare professionals in public hospitals who are exposed to the virus on a daily basis. The result of a partnership between BNDES, CMB, Bionexo, and Sitawi, the Fund operated based on the 'matchfunding' logic: for each R$1 donated, BNDES donated R$1, doubling the value of the donations.
As a manager of non-reimbursable resources, Sitawi took over the management of resources and made the transfer and purchases of supplies for the selected hospitals, with transparency, reporting to civil society.
