Gustavo Fuga takes third place at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards

In April 2019, 4YOU2, a business supported by Sitawi, was chosen to participate in one of the largest events on entrepreneurship in the world, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA). In this edition, held in China, 52 students from different countries participated in the event and had to present their businesses to a panel of judges from Entrepreneurs? Organization. Gustavo Fuga secured third place in the overall ranking and received a prize of U$ 5 thousand plus U$ 50 thousand credit from Amazon Web Service.

?It was one of the most interesting experiences of my life. Getting to know Asia for the first time and being able to represent our country and Brazilian entrepreneurs in this competition was an honor! The level of colleagues from other countries was very high and knowing all these minds was the main prize?, reports the creator of 4YOU2.

In first place was Daniela Blanco, founder of Sunthetics, a company that has developed a method to manufacture the main component of nylon using renewable energy that is more efficient and less expensive than the current industrial process. Second place went to Alberto Soto Benitez, founder of Guatemala's first tea blending company, Utopia Premium Tea.

?We are very happy to see the recognition of Brazilian entrepreneurs who are doing incredible work, like Gustavo Fuga, with 4YOU2.? Comments Andrea Resende, Social Finance Manager at Sitawi

The annual event is the premier global competition for students who own and operate a business while attending college or university and helps nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs by adding value to today's business ecosystem.
