The Association of Agroextractive Residents of the Community of Terra Preta and São José do Lago do Atininga (ATININGA) was founded in August 2000, in the two communities, with the main objective of selling the extractive products they produce — such as rubber and copaiba — promoting increased income and forest conservation through these productions.
