Shell Iniciativa Jovem has open enrollment for the acceleration program

The Shell Iniciativa Jovem Program has open enrollment for the 2017 entrepreneur acceleration process. The initiative aims to develop entrepreneurs who are aware of their role in society. Support the identification of ideas and the design of the business model of an ethical, sustainable and economically viable company in the market, in order to generate impact and promote changes in society.


It is a free acceleration program, which has a team of experienced volunteers, partners and mentors, so you can focus on getting your company off the ground. Young people between the ages of 20 and 34 who live in Rio de Janeiro, have completed high school and have an entrepreneurial mindset and behavior can participate. The duration period lasts 12 months, from the selection process to the legalization of the ventures.

Shell LiveWIRE International was founded in 1982 in the United Kingdom and the Brazilian version of this program, Shell Iniciativa Jovem, has been developed since 2001 in the city of Rio de Janeiro. With a methodology based on the most modern tools, the process helps participants to organize their ideas and open an ethical, sustainable and economically viable company, in order to generate impact and promote changes in society.

UNESCO recognizes that the project contributes to increasing the active participation of young people in society, by promoting greater social inclusion and youth protagonism. Elected by the UBI Index as the 4th best support agent for entrepreneurship in Latin America and the 2nd best in Brazil, the initiative received the Motion of Honor from the Rio de Janeiro City Council for disseminating a conscious way of doing business, focused on social and business responsibility.
