Sitawi participates in the Latin American Impact Investing Forum

For the second consecutive year, SITAWI Finanças do Bem is part of the Brazilian representation at the Latin American Impact Investment Forum – FLII. The event takes place between the 16th and 18th of February, in Mérida, Mexico, where our CEO, Leonardo Letelier, shares some of his experience in the social finance area.

In his presentation on the Brazilian Task Force on Social Finance, Leonardo talks about the movement of capital for social and environmental impact.

 – I believe that the work of the Brazilian Social Finance Task Force can inform the work being done in other countries in the region to move more capital for social and environmental impact, he pointed out.

FLII is the most important impact investing meeting in Latin America and brings together several personalities to promote the strengthening of social and environmental entrepreneurship in the region. The event facilitates meetings and dialogues between the main actors from different sectors: social and environmental companies, corporate investment funds, business media, foundations, business schools, among others.

In order to strengthen the support and financing network for social and environmental entrepreneurs, the space features lectures, interviews with experts, successful cases, workshops and discussion panels, which enable the exchange of experiences and knowledge between the participants, which are factors key to finding points of collaboration and promoting joint actions.
