Since the First Industrial Revolution, the advancement of society has brought increasingly urgent socio-environmental challenges. climate change<\/a>, the loss of biodiversity<\/a> And the increase in social inequalities are some of the consequences of this growth model. To face these challenges and guarantee a sustainable future, the United Nations (UN)<\/strong> adopted, in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the SDGs?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong> are a set of 17 ambitious and interconnected objectives and 169 global goals, established by Agenda 2030<\/strong><\/a>, which seek to eradicate poverty, protect the environment and promote peace and prosperity for all. These goals encompass three fundamental pillars of sustainable development: social, environmental and economic<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Implemented since January 1, 2016<\/strong>, you SDGs<\/strong> serve as a guideline for governments, companies<\/a>, civil society and citizens committed to sustainability. Each country adapts the goals to its realities and challenges, incorporating them into public policies, programs and projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
