To guide this journey, <strong>United Nations (UN)<\/strong> launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/sitawi.net\/en\/ods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>:<\/a> a global pact that requires the active participation of everyone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than a set of goals, the <strong>SDGs<\/strong> are a call to action: aligning economic growth, social well-being and environmental preservation, creating a fair and balanced future for all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the SDGs?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You <strong>Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong> form a universal agenda, known as <a href=\"https:\/\/sitawi.net\/en\/agenda-2030\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Agenda 2030<\/strong><\/a>, composed of <strong>17 interconnected goals <\/strong>that seek to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity, leaving no one behind. The 17 measures are broken down into 169 specific targets, which must be achieved by 2030\u2014hence the agenda&#039;s name.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To facilitate understanding, the <strong>SDGs<\/strong> can be organized into four major dimensions:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Environmental<\/strong>: biodiversity conservation, combating deforestation, ocean protection and measures against the climate crisis;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Social<\/strong>: health, education, justice and improvement of quality of life;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Economic<\/strong>: responsible use of resources, sustainable production and consumption patterns, energy efficiency;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>institutional<\/strong>: strengthening governance, public policies and implementation capacity.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since January 2016, the <strong>SDGs<\/strong> are a reference for governments, companies and citizens who wish to act in a structured manner <strong>sustainability<\/strong>Each country adapts its goals to its own realities and challenges, transforming them into concrete policies, programs, and projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the SDG goals?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THE <a href=\"https:\/\/sitawi.net\/en\/agenda-2030-onu-empresas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Agenda 2030<\/strong><\/a> is structured around 17 objectives that, together, chart the path to a sustainable future. Companies drive production chains, generate jobs, shape consumer habits, and exert a strong influence on governments and communities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Brazil, a country with <strong>rich biodiversity and major social challenges<\/strong>, this responsibility gains even more weight. The <strong>National Voluntary Report 2024<\/strong> revealed that only <strong>8.2% of the goals<\/strong> have been fulfilled so far.
