SITAWI Inspiring Talks brings the astronaut Christopher Cassidy

Christopher Cassidy, NASA’s astronaut since 2004, will be our guest for the second meeting of Inspiring Talks on November 24. It will be an intimate event for guests and a great opportunity to ask those questions you always wanted to know about space. Innovation, sustainability and his spatial experience will be the themes discussed by the American astronaut, follow by questions and a happy hour in our veranda. Guarantee your place! The meeting will be in English, at SITAWI’s office in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.

Christopher is NASA’s astronaut officer chief and has been in space expeditions for 181 days between 2009 and 2013. Before joining NASA in 2004 and become the 500th crew of a space mission in history, Christopher was Navy Seal in the US Navy, serving in missions in the Mediterranean and Afghanistan.
