About the initiative

The Feeding System It is a network of organizations and actors united around a common goal: Expanding the supply and demand for Afro-Brazilian culinary products as a path to social mobility for Black women in Rio de Janeiro.. The initiative operates through education, certification, and promotion of African-based cultures, structured around four pillars: territorial regeneration, dissemination of traditional cultures, sustainable food systems, and Black women's entrepreneurship. 

Why a Philanthropic Fund?

To centralize and transparently manage the resources raised by the network, the initiative sought to... Sitawi Finanças do Bem to establish the Philanthropic Fund Food System. The partnership makes possible a structured and efficient financial management, ensuring that the resources mobilized translate into real impact for Black women entrepreneurs and for the food system in Rio de Janeiro.
